"Desk drawers" A Poem by Anita Kapoor

Years ago
as some of the dreams
wrapped in the scent of life
were left to be, for reality;
I locked them
in the drawer of uncertainty
lying in a corner of a dark room.
Today, as I reopen it
dreams and moments
are stuck together.
The year and the moment lives
as my fingers console
in the pitch-dark
a booming glow-worm .

The famous Bollywood director Harry Baweja, who has a number of hit movies under his belt, was in Toronto to promote his latest venture 'Chaar Sahibzade' a 3D animation film  which will be releasing soon. Some of his films are Trinetra, Dilwale, Imtihaan, Diljale, Deewane,  Karz - The Burden of Truth, Mein Aisa Hi Hoon,  Love Story 2050 in which his son Harman Baweja made his debut

StarBuzz caught up with Harry Baweja under the gracious hospitality of his friends, Trish & Manjit Bakshi at their residence in Oakville.

"While going through the pages of Sikh history, as I focused on the events around the lives and sacrifices of the four sons of (Tenth Sikh Guru) Shri Guru Gobind Singh ji, I knew I had the story of my next film in hand. I knew that it would not be possible to make a live-action film on the four sons of the Guru, so animation was the only option in which format I could make a feature film on this part of Sikh history,” said Baweja while talking to Bhupinder Virdi CEO StarBuzz. The film, set for release later this year, tells the story of the sacrifices of the four great sons of Guru Gobind Singh ji -- Baba Ajit Singh, Baba Jujhar Singh, Baba Zorawar Singh and Baba Fateh Singh. “It took me an  intense effort of literary and technical research under the guidance of the religious leaders for over three years to come up with the project,” added Baweja.

The grand evening at the Bakshi residence was well attended by the elite of Greater Toronto Area. Apart from Meena Chopra and Bhupinder Virdi of StarBuzz  to name a few who were there were Paul and Rani Minhas, Toni and Dimple Chawla , Chair Women's Wing ICCC Ravinder Mahli, Ravi and Reena Khurana, Sunny Gill and Inder Chopra of PIFF,  Reena Deon, Rupali, Mr. and Mrs. Suri,  Mr and Mrs Rai and many others and many other.

Actress Nisha Yadav dating debutante director

Controversial actress and drama queen Nisha Yadav is dating a debutante director who is directing a film with a well-known action hero. We spoke to Nisha Yadav about her new flame, but she did declined to share any details. "We are very good friends. We met at a party and were introduced by common friends. We have just kept in touch on phone, but we are not dating-shating," said Nisha Yadav.

However, a common friend told Newz66 that the couple is very much into each other and have been going out for long drives and even cosy romantic dinners. The two were even seen hugging each other at a popular cinema multiplex at Lokhandwala in suburban Mumbai. While the director is actually in love, we think Nisha Yadav is giving her sagging filmi career a boost with the director's connection. She has suddenly become very active on the work front and  recently shot for a catalog for a swim wear brand. The shoot was held in Goa. Here are some pix of the shoot....

Social Media Networking Will Brand Your Business Better

 Britton Connell
By Britton Connell
How do you plan to grow your brand? You need to reach out to more people in the community to tell people who you are and what's going on with you. One of the best ways to do this is with social media networking. This is where you will use the various networks to communicate about your business - such as Facebook, Twitter, and Google +.

Social media networking is an ongoing endeavor. If you fail to regularly communicate on Facebook and Twitter, it can appear as though you have given up on your business, even if this is the farthest thing from the truth. You need to stay linked into this form of social media regularly - at least once a week if not more frequently.

Surrender to the temptation of food!
When you're following a diet, one of the most common mistakes you commit, when you surrender to the temptation of food and spoiling your diet in a certain meal, is the immediate feeling that there is no need to keep your diet for the rest of the day, due to the non-application of it in that meal!

Here lies the problem! If you rely on this idea, then you will continue in the remaining days, and you'll have an argument to spoil the diet. Therefore, I advise you to allocate one day a week to eat what you want, in order to prevent breaching the diet and invoke perseverance in the next day.
