ARTISTS CELEBRATE NATIONAL YOUTH ARTS WEEK AT REBEL TALENT SHOW

Mississauga, ON- Get ready, get set! Mississauga's top youth artists are ready to rock the stage in celebration of National Youth Arts Week at the REBEL TALENT SHOW.  Presented on 'Music Monday' on Monday, May 6th at 6 p.m., the event will take place at Noel Ryan Auditorium located inside the Mississauga Central Library located at 301 Burnhamthorpe Rd. W.  Get ready to be inspired by this powerful evening of meaningful performance art. 

The REBEL TALENT SHOW is proudly produced by the Mississauga Arts Council's Limelight Association of Young Artists in collaboration with the City of Mississauga's Culture Division, the Mississauga Central Library and Prabjot Jagdev. Hosted by Mississauga's rockin' singer/songwriter Sarah-Jean Villa, the event will feature over 40 Mississauga youth artists including spoken-word poets, dancers, singer/songwriters and instrumentalists. These passionate youth artists will be performing pieces celebrating healthy self-esteem, positive mental health, conflict resolution and other social issues affecting today's youth.

The REBEL TALENT SHOW is a signature event produced for REBEL 2013 — the City of Mississauga's signature youth arts events series presented as part of National Youth Arts Week.  National Youth Arts Week runs from May 1 to 7, 2013.
