Indo-Canada Chamber of Commerce Open House on November 10

Proactive healthcare discussion and RBC Economist Paul Ferley to highlight the night

StarBuzz Weekly, Toronto, November 4: The Indo-Canada Chamber of Commerce (ICCC) is holding an Open House on November 10, 2010 in Mississauga at the RBC-Meadowvale Conference Centre. In addition to providing excellent networking opportunities, this free event will also enable ICCC members and non-members to become acquainted with the Chamber and its multifarious activities.
The ICCC is the oldest Indo-Canadian Diaspora organization that promotes bilateral relations between Canada and India, and provides a National platform for Indo-Canadians to constructively engage in community building. Last year, ICCC facilitated over 70 events including three highly successful Open Houses held across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) as part of the Chamber’s program to further broaden its scope and socialize the many benefits of membership.

Paul Ferley, Assistant Chief Economist, RBC, will speak about the state of Canada’s economy with special emphasis on the latest economic and interest rate trends. Additionally, Dr. Vivian Rambihar, an eminent Canadian Cardiologist will briefly address the topic of Proactive Healthcare, with particular focus on the South Asian Community. One of the features of previous Open House events has been to invite guest speakers on pertinent and contextual topics. Steve Gupta, President & CEO of Easton Group of Hotels Inc, Ajit Khanna, Panorama India’s co-chair (also ICCC’s past president), and Jocelyne Cote-O’Hara, Director Commonwealth Games Canada have all addressed the Chamber’s Open Houses in the past.
