After almost a three years gap, SRK has finally decided to make his comeback on small screen. This time it's not going to be KBC, it's going to be a different show on a different channel.
StarBuzz Weekly, Toronto-PRLog (Press Release) – Dec 09, 2010 – AFTER WATCHING his fellow mates or his counterparts like Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, Amitabh Bachchan and Madhuri Dixit; Shah Rukh Khan also has announced his return to TV, a short cut way to reach the hearts of every Indian fan.
After almost a three years gap, SRK has finally decided to make his comeback on small screen. This time it’s not going to be KBC, it’s going to be a different show on different channel. The King khan will be seen as hosting the Indian version of an American show called Wipeout.
According to sources, the pre-production of the show has already begun and SRK will be soon shooting the promos of the show. As the show is based on adventure, contestants will have to travel to Argentina to shoot for it. The show has been aired in 22 countries and all the episodes have been shot in Argentina, almost every country has made to 2 or 3 seasons.
Sources say that most of the participants on the show are from Fear Factor and Bigg Boss. Some names floating around include Bindoo, Gaurav Chopra, Claudia, Narayani Shastri, Debina and Karishma Baktiyaar.
Being approached by television head honcho Sameer Nair, Shah Rukh willingly said yes to him, “The actor agreed to do the show because his kids love it. And they watch the international version of the show. It is an adventure show with loads of action and comedy. And one will get to see the comic side of SRK on the show'' said the sources.
This is going to be SRK’s fourth inning on TV after he made his debut with the most popular TV show Fauji in 1988, after that he hosted the most popular show of India Kaun Banega Crorepati, after Amitabh Bachchan in 2007. In 2008 he hosted his last show Kya Aap Paanchvi Pass Se Tez Hain? Which was one of the biggest flop TV shows in India.
