Women soar higher with “Celebrating Womanhood” Gala Night

On March 7, 2014, WINGS (Women’s Initiatives to Nurture, Grow & Support) & FEMME CIRCLE together present “CELEBRATING WOMANHOOD" - a Gala Night to honour and applaud inspiring women in Canada to commemorate International Women’s Day.“Celebrating Womanhood” will be graced by the Honourable Councillor of Mississauga, Bonnie Crombie as Chief Guest, and aims to felicitate women who have made a difference to the community.

The event aims to create awareness and support women’s initiatives through the skills and resources of achievers from diverse walks of life through a fun-filled, eventful evening.
The force and source behind WINGS is Sanjukta Das, a dynamic motivational speaker and leader at Humber Business School who has dedicated her professional life to conducting stress management workshops, career counselling and educational initiatives, with a view to help students and women reach their highest potential.
In March 2013, Sanjukta Das first held  “Celebrating Womanhood” as a portal to express her vision with the support of the World Women Global Council in Canada.This year “Celebrating Womanhood” has been further strengthened with the collaboration of Anjana Kochchar, Founder of Femme Circle, and Mokshi Virk, Organizer with WINGS, to act as a catalyst for change.
Founded by the enterprising travel industry professional Anjana Kochhar, Femme Circle was conceived with the spirit to make a difference in every woman’s life, professionally and personally.Mokshi Virk is a successful Real Estate Broker with Royal Star Realty Inc. who enjoys holding educational workshops and socio-cultural events for those who wish to make their lives more meaningful.  After her successful involvement in a networking event for the ICCC-WEP, (Indo-Canadian Chamber of Commerce for Women Entrepreneurs and Professionals), Mokshi has now collaborated with WINGS to do what she loves best – giving back to the community.With three dynamic women at the helm and many more powering the circle with their core strengths, “Celebrating Womanhood” is now all set to fly higher and reach out further.

The “Celebrating Womanhood” Gala event will be held on March 7^th, 2014 at the popular venue, Sagan Banquet Hall, Mississauga from 5pm onwards.The programme schedule includes inspiring guest speakers, tips on health, family and career, an awards ceremony sponsored by TD Bank to recognize and reward women who have made an outstanding contribution to the community and a cultural feast of music, dance and fashion show with a grand dinner at the end.
