2014 MARTY AWARDS CALL FOR NOMINATIONS!


WHAT:    Nominations are now up for the 2014 MARTY Awards! 2014 marks the 20th
                anniversary of the Mississauga Arts Awards! We encourage all
                artists of all ages, abilities, and disciplines to apply for an emerging or
                established arts award. Categories include: Literary; Media; Performing,
                Performing Group; and Visual Arts. Special categories include: Hazel
                McCallion Volunteer of the Year Award; Laurie Pallett Patron of the Arts
                Award; and the Creative Community Award. For more information, call

  WHO:      New this year, everyone can apply! You do not need anyone to nominate
                you. Criteria: You must be a Missisauga resident or have lived in
                Mississauga for at least 10 years. 

WHEN:    Deadline for nomination packages is Monday, February 10, 2014. All
                 nominations MUST be emailed to both mac@mississaugaartscouncil.com
                 AND media@mississaugaartscouncil.com. All samples of work must be
                 submitted electronically AND either dropped off or mailed to the MAC office,
                 located at 300 City Centre Drive, Suite 1055, Mississauga, ON, L5B 3C9.
