Stop Dalton McGuinty’s Affirmative Action Scheme that puts Foreign Workers Ahead of Ontario Families


StarBuzz Weekly, Toronto-NEWS: BRAMPTON —Today, Ontario PC candidate Pam Hundal (Brampton-Springdale) along with other Toronto and GTA Ontario PC candidates called on Brampton families to put a stop to Dalton McGuinty’s scheme to pay employers $10,000 to hire foreign workers ahead of Ontario job seekers. The foreign worker affirmative action scheme will mean that more than 550,000 Ontario job seekers will find it harder and harder to find good paying jobs thanks to Dalton McGuinty.


Thanks to his expensive energy experiments and picking winners and losers Dalton McGuinty has stood by as more than 300,000 good paying manufacturing jobs have been lost in Ontario. For 55 straight months Ontario’s unemployment rate has soared above the national average. Here in Brampton there are thousands of Ontario families looking for good paying jobs.

Dalton McGuinty’s cynical affirmative action scheme for foreign workers must not be allowed to be used to make it harder for Ontario families to find good paying jobs. The Ontario PC party believes that the values that made Ontario strong, like equality, fair play and making our province the best place in the world to work, live and raise a family, must come first.
