Willow Smith Working With Dad’s Former Partner, DJ Jazzy Jeff

StarBuzz Weekly, Toronto-January 8, 2011: The little wonder girl of Will Smith is preparing for her debut album and the 10 year old Willow Smith has collaborated with her dad’s former hip-hop partner DJ Jazzy. The girl, who started her success journey with the single ‘Whip My Hair’, has chosen safe zone for her debut album.

Her ‘Whip My Hair’ number ruled the charts last year and she received lots of appreciations from the music lovers and the critics. The album is yet untitled and she is still recording the tracks. After being signed by Jay-Z’s Roc Nation label, now it’s time to rock with Jazzy.

Will Smith collaborated with Jazzy years back and now Willow is taking ahead the family’s entertainment business. Willow became popular as 'The Fresh Prince' after his work with DJ Jazzy, so we hope the history will repeat after 25 years. The lyrics of Jeff’s beats are being penned by rapper Skillz.

Skillz confirmed the news saying that he and Jazzy are working on Willow Smith’s album. He adds that he has worked with her dad on some projects so he has a good relationship with Will. So, this development comes as a natural progression.

Willow is also eying on her dad’s 1988 single ‘Parents Just Don’t Understand’ and she is quite excited about the project.
