Check out the savings at Sears.ca!StarBuzz Weekly, Toronto- Bups Saggu and Jati Cheed set out to create a track that pays homage to the original "Why This Kolaveri Di" while infusing aspects of both artists' musical personalities. Bups Saggu released his solo debut album, "Redefined", in 2011, which included worldwide smash hits "Photo Rakh Ke" ft. Miss Pooja and "Matha Tekhiya" ft. Lehmber Hussainpuri. His captivating melodies and upbeat rhythms combined with emotional and meaningful lyrics show this innovative producer's musical talent. Jati Cheed has established himself as a professional vocalist with an extensive vocal range who also showcased his talent on Bups Saggu's "Vang Chan Ke" and "Intezaar", and GV's "Hai Oh Rabbha".
These two UK Bhangra artists have successfully created a cover of "Why This Kolaveri Di" that entwines Punjabi lyrics with the Tanglish of the original track, providing a fresh take on an already sensational song. Bups explains that "it was a spontaneous idea. I was listening to the song and I loved it but could also imagine a version with a Punjabi twist. Jati and I wrote and recorded the song as well as the video within three days." The video showcases the comical personalities and strong friendship between Bups Saggu and Jati Cheed.
