SOCH LO (“Think About It”) the movie that was made with the director, Sartaj Singh Pannu, having just 400 dollars in his pocket on the completion of the first day of filming, but which went on to get theatrical release in the US, India is now all set for a limited release in Canada.
The film will release in the Magic Lantern Theater – Carlton Cinema on Saturday Nov 20, 2010.
SOCH LO is distributed in the US and Canada by independent distributors, Golden Gate Creations LLC.
Barkha Madan, the lead actress of the film, will be on hand for the screenings on Sat, Nov 20 at 7 pm and on Sun, Nov 21 at 2 pm, for an extensive Q & A with the audience. Barkha has a special connection with Toronto since her debut Bollywood film, KHILADIYON KA KHILADI (Rekha, Akshay Kumar, Raveena Tandon, Gulshan Grover) was filmed in the city.
Barkha has since gone on to do films such as Ram Gopal Varma’s BHOOT, DRIVING MISS PALMEN and is also a regular on television soaps such as GHAR EK SAPNA, SAAT PHERE, Sanjay Khan’s 1857, amongst others.
