The STAR Parivaar Awards that celebrates the best of India's largest television network has gone 3D in its 10th year as its cherishes the old and fosters the new - new thinking!
'Nayi Soch Nayi Lehar' - the theme of the latest edition of STAR Parivaar Awards will come to life as cutting-edge 3D mapping technology helps beam larger-than- life 3D visuals as the STAR family performs to entertain viewers.
The STAR Parivaar Awards will be aired on 24th March at 8PM on STAR Plus.
The award show will be an entertaining experience and will give the audience a chance to see their favourite stars in completely new roles and in new avatars. The opening act will see the most popular STAR Plus couples perform against a grand backdrop that will come to life with cutting-edge 3D mapping technology.
This hi-tech 3D technology will also reappear in the mythological dance sequence where household names Akshara, Sandhya and Pratigya will don the roles of Lakshmi, Saraswati and Maa Durga respectively.
“In international shows and events, 3D mapping is the latest technology that’s adding a new dimension to the visual experience. We are very happy to introduce it to our audiences through one of our biggest properties - the STAR Parivaar Awards. Whether it was HD or digitization of content, STAR Plus has been pioneer in introducing latest technology on the Indian television and with 3D mapping we add another first to our milestones” says Nitin Vaidya, business head, STAR Plus channel.
The four leading couples of STAR Plus - Sooraj-Sandhya, Suhana-Ishaan, Gopi-Ahem and Akshara-Naitik will be seen performing to romantic tracks
Adding to the grand evening will be stunning acts by STAR Plus’ heartthrobs. While Krishna will play with fire, Sooraj will display some amazing magical tricks and Viraat will perform a regional dance form - Kalari Pyattu. STAR Plus’ sister duo Jeevika and Manvi alongwith Khushi will be seen performing a touching sequence with NGO kids in order to win support of the audience towards ‘foster children’. The extravaganza will conclude with a finale performance with all the leading actors dancing to popular hits, leaving the audience enchanted and on an all-time high.
