Ra.One Game – India’s First Social Game Based on Upcoming Bollywood Movie


Actor-producer of Ra.One Shah Rukh Khan’s latest present, Ra.One Social Game, based on the character G.One, which was performed by Shah Rukh Khan in the movie. The game was designed by UTV India games.


StarBuzz Weekly, Toronto-Oct 11, 2011 - Actor-producer of Ra.One Shah Rukh Khan’s latest present, Ra.One Social Game, based on the character G.One, which was performed by Shah Rukh Khan in the movie. The game was designed by UTV India games.


UTV Indiagames chief executive Vishal Gondal said we are working with the character G.One and generate some stories around it, this game will give enjoyment and happiness to millions of game lovers in India and abroad. Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies’ Entertainment Company is investing Rs 14-20 crore for the promotion of the movie. This Ra.one Game has been used as part of online marketing strategy.

According to Indiagames, Ra.one game based on a general modal concept, means the primary level of the game would be free. If users want advanced features and accessories, they have to pay some amount, range between Rs 5 and Rs 100.

Shailja Gupta head of Red Chillies Entertainment digital and new media said – The main motive to launch Ra.one game and other online promotion activities create a franchisee for Ra.One. Social gaming is just one part of the digit marketing strategy. The unique part of the social game is the integration of merchandise and gaming, “She added.

UTV Indiagames are also going to launch digital comics based on the Ra.One character, which will available for the mobile platform would have weekly episodes. Shailja Gupta say’s we bring to you action figures, Ra.One toys, home furnishing, Ra.One fashion accessories, Ra.One school accessories, graphic novels, mobile, social and console games, graphic card, mobiles and much more.
