StarBuzz Weekly, Toronto- We sure wake up and freshen ourselves every day, that’s the norm, that’s what we have learnt and that’s what we will teach, but are we ignoring the other norms of personal hygiene? Most of us relate hygiene to a good shower, clean teeth well kept hair and nails etc.
Personal hygiene is also maintaining good personal habits and regular grooming. A daily bath, hair washes done habitually, a hair trim periodically, professional manicure and pedicure at least once a month. Removing unwanted hair by waxing threading or even laser, whatever may be suitable to your requirements, dental hygiene, taking care of body odour etc, it’s not limited to your looks but your feel. However hygiene is beyond these, the variety of products available for these uses are several. Each and every product has perfume. We are tempted to use the most fragrant one to feel and smell good. Keep in mind the products with pungent smells may not be suitable to everyone. Body chemicals react to strong fragrances and emit bad odours. Layers of various kinds of perfumes on our skin leads to toxic build up of synthetic chemicals in our body and can eventually lead to health drawbacks.
Try to wear clean washed clothes, rather than applying perfume on unclean clothes. Remember the synthetic build up. Bad body odour is a result of clogged pores and accumulated sweat. Clean yourself regularly. Food with spices leaves a smell on our clothes as well; therefore wear an apron while cooking or even while eating. Wash hands clean before and after every meal, especially under your nails.
Follow good sleep and healthy diet habits. Daily exercise is absolutely necessary to get the body rid of certain toxic waste we have accumulated over the years. It’s never too late to start. Remember better late than never. Healthy minds with a positive attitude are necessary, and drink plenty of fresh water to bring that glow from within. Look good, feel good, and smell good. Love yourself.
