Payal Rohatgi fractures her little finger while shooting for WipeOut in Argentina

StarBuzz Weekly, Toronto-By Flynn Remedios – Futuristic Media Network - Payal Rohatgi who is shooting for the Endemol produced Indian-version of AXN’s popular show Wipe Out to be aired on Imagine TV was seriously injured while performing a stunt say sources. Payal had her arm X-rayed which revealed a hairline fracture of her little finger. Payal also sustained bruises and minor injuries on her arm and leg it is learnt. While nobody from Endemol –India the producers of the show nor Imagine TV was willing to go on record regarding the accident, an assistant producer said it was a minor accident and Payal Rohatgi is fit as a fiddle. However, another participant on the show rubbished these claims saying that Payal Rohatgi was in great pain for almost half an hour as no immediate medical aid was available.

 Other participants on the show include Raja Chaudhary, Priyadarshini Singh (of Rahul Dulhaniya le Jayenge fame), Karishma Tanna, Debina Bonnerjee, Shabir Ahluwalia winner of KKK3, Amit Sareen, Akashdeep Saigal, Ashima Bhalla, Natasha Suri, Narayani Shastri, Bhaktiyaar Irani, Rohit Verma, Mink, Dimpy Mahajan and Vindoo Dara Singh. Most of the participants are former Khatron Ke Khiladi (Fear Factor) or Bigg Boss contestants.  The show is expected to be on air around end-December and the participants will shoot till end-January 2011.

The international sets and hurdle course for Wipe Out is located in Argentina, where the Indian participants have begun shooting for the first Season of WipeOut. Shah Rukh Khan is expected to host this show. Apparently, Shah Rukh Khan was keen on doing the show because his kids love the program.
