Stress does cause some hair loss, but it’s the health of an individual that impacts it more. Good diet is absolutely necessary to bring shine and glow to the hair although it is merely fibre made of dead hard protein infact 91 percent of it is made of keratinized proteins, exposure to extreme weathers, excessive coloring and using of hair products have a long term effect to hair texture, so to say external factors are more important.
Normally darker hair is heavier in texture compared to lighter hair, so products useful for lighter hair may not necessarily be helpful for darker. It is important for us to maintain the ph (potential of Hydrogen) balance of our scalp, it normally is more acidic than alkaline, if you notice your hair tends to get drier than its more acidic, you will require a neutralising shampoo to restore the moisture on the scalp, and conditioner to bring texture to the hair.
Good haircuts are meant to be less maintenance, so go with the natural texture of your hair; you will not struggle with too many ‘bad hair days’!
