It's Small Business Month in Mississauga! Small Business Month is an opportunity for us to celebrate and profile over 94,000 Mississauga local Small-Medium Business Enterprises (SMEs). What better way to celebrate our local businesses than featuring one of Mississauga's Small Business Champions.
MEET: Rebecca Manankil, Lead Planner and Owner, Presents and Presence Events
Manankil graduated from George Brown College and became a well-recognized planning and events specialist whose work has been featured on various stages including: Toronto Men's Fashion Week, Fashion Art Toronto Week and Montreal Fashion Week.
Manankil participated in the Mississauga Business Enterprise Centre's (MBEC), where she received mentorship, training, and a grant to help her start her own boutique events planning firm, Presents and Presence Events.
If you ask her about her motivation and business philosophy, she'd simply say "Presence is the realest present." "My promise to my clients is that the memories shared between themselves and their guests will surpass any gift given or received."
Join us to see her in action, as she shares fall event decor ideas and how she realized her business dream with the help of Mississauga Business Enterprise Centre.
