Festival Founder and Director of Pensare Films Media, Robert Misovic, along with his team have created an evening that features a red-carpet reception, a 2.5-hour screening of some of the very best short films from around the world, and finally, a wine and networking gala for industry professionals, media, sponsors, and filmmakers in attendance.
About the screenings:
Pendance packs a tight mix of some of the best films in the world. The trailers for the films are on their YouTube page and links are on their website; among them are established festival darlings like Cannes Palme d'Or winning film ' A Gentle Night' and Tribeca darling Cul-de-Sac. There will be special screenings of Oscar winning shorts, and fresh discoveries - world premiere of Uruguayan masterpiece Emma, a Canadian premiere of 'Tsuki' written by Mark Raso, in addition to a world premiere of the Spanish drama, 'William Martin'. Three Canadian shorts will have their premieres at Pendance including the bold short 'Inland Freaks', by fast rising 21-year-old film maker, Kalainithan Kalaichelvan.
The festival primed to be outstanding, is slated to be one of the most ambitious film festival launches in 20+ years. Tickets can be purchased at: https://www.universe.com/events/pendance-film-festival-tickets-28G5XQ
