International Trailer Launch of SARVANN by PRIYANKA CHOPRA BMO IFFSA | PIFF | Toronto in association with Grand Showbiz Media and Entertainment presents the International Trailer Launch of Punjabi feature film SARVANN by internationally acclaimed Hollywood / Bollywood Superstar PRIYANKA CHOPRA. Punjabi Superstar Amrinder Gill, co-star Simi Chahal and producers Dr. Madhu Chopra, and Deepshikha Deshmukh will also be present at the press conference.
This 10+ day extravaganza showcases a diverse, language independent, selection of the best feature films, documentaries and short films from around the world, on themes of South Asian cultures and identities. In the spirit of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam – the world is one family”, a select number of foreign films are considered under Beyond South Asia segment.
In addition, the festival also features concerts, gala events, lounge parties, seminars, workshops and networking opportunities with government representatives, business leaders, local organizations that support film development, film stars, producers, directors, members of the media and more. The 6th edition of the festival, IFFSA Toronto 2017 will be held from May 18 – May 22, 2017 in Ontario, Canada as part of South Asian Heritage Month celebrations. Various launch events and special series programs will take place during the month of April, 2017.

The movie starring Punjabi superstar Amrinder Gill marks Priyanka's foray into the Punjabi market backed by the experience and expertise of Vashu Bhagnani. A coming-of-age tale, Sarvann is a story of a young NRI who returns to India to connect with his roots. The young boy, enacted by Amrinder Gill, unknowingly discovers his identity through this life-changing journey.
The plot of this heart-warming narrative is set in Canada and Chandigarh. Sarvann has Simi Chehal as the female lead. The hit pair of Actor Amrinder Gill and writer Amberdeep Singh is back again after superhit films such as Angrej and Love Punjab.
