The opening night of 'The Stroke of the Masters' an exhibition showing some of the best works (Ltd edition Prints)of Indian Master artists of the likes of Jamini Roy, MF Husain, SH Raza, Jogen Chowdhary, Jatin Das and many more. It is an admirable effort in showcasing the valued heritage and art of India to the North Americans and Canada. This treat has been brought to us by Asma Mahmood and Anu Vittal, the curators. The opening was graced by the Consuls General of both Indi...a and Pakistan. Some of the other notable guests were Reeti Mishra, the wife of the Consul General of India who is an avid lover of art, Rajat Kapoor, Meena Chopra, Vishal Mishra, Linden King, Bonnie Crombie, Syed Iqbal, Rashid Rana, Nain Amyn Lalji, Arshad Khan, Nita and Lachman Balani and many more. Under the auspices of TD MOSAIC 2014, the exhibition is on at the Promenade Gallery. Lakeshore Road, Mississauga till the 3rd of September 2014. See More
