Inaugural TOIFA Celebration Culminates in Night to Remember at BC Place Grand Awards Ceremony

April 6, 2013Vancouver, BC – Three days of celebrations marking the 2013 Times of India Film Awards (TOIFA), presented in Canada by THIND Properties, have come to a spectacular end as thousands of fans joined hundreds of Bollywood elite for the TOIFA Grand Awards Ceremony at Vancouver’s BC Place. The highly anticipated event, drawing attention from around the globe, included performances and appearances from the world’s most well recognized Hindi film stars.

With TOIFA, we have raised the bar for Bollywood awards across the world. This grand celebration honored its talents in a truly democratic way and witnessed magnificent performances making it a night to remember. TOIFA has succeeded to bring fans from across the globe together to celebrate their love for Hindi Cinema. The evening began with a glamorous Red Carpet extravaganza featuring more than one hundred of Bollywood’s top film stars, met by hundreds of supporters hoping to catch a glimpse of their favourite celebrities

Bollywood heartthrobsRanbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma hosted the Awards with the versatile actor, Boman Irani. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra all delivered incredible performances choreographed by the legendary Shiamak Davar, who brought his unique and
innovative ‘Shiamak style’ of dance to the stage.
