Shiamak Davar to Choreograph Bollywood’s Biggest Stars, Abhishek Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra for TOIFA!

StarBuzz, Toront-Vancouver, BC - The inaugural Times of India Film Awards (TOIFA), presented by THIND Properties, is going to be an event to remember as legendary choreographer Shiamak Davar is pulling out all the stops to ensure the Vancouver audience is left amazed!

 Shiamak is teaming up with industry stalwarts Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra and Abhishek Bachchan amongst others to choreograph their performances. This combination of talent is sure to make a statement on the TOIFA stage.

Shiamak is known to have revolutionized dance in Bollywood with his interesting, innovative and captivating take on dance. He has a unique‘Shiamak style’ that brings jazz and rock elements to the Bollywood traditional dance. This style will most definitely be showcased in the performances he has created especially for TOIFA.

Talking about his experience thus far, Shiamak said, “I love TOIFA for giving me the creative space and the freedom which allows me to do full justice to my job; it’s fabulous to work for a property that understands my vision.” He goes on to say,“Vancouver is my second home and it feels great to be a part of something that strives to break all cultural boundaries. TOIFA plans to bring together two of the most fascinating countries that are both very close to my heart. I can’t wait to see the result!”

The multifaceted Shiamak is not only the Director of Choreography & Entertainment Design for TOIFA 2013, but will also be entertaining the global audience with his singing when he performs on April 4th at the Musical Extravaganza at PNE. Shiamak will also present an exclusive dance performance for audiences on April 6th at the Main Awards event at BC Place. With Shiamak’s input, Vancouver is sure to be in for a treat!
