VISION :
The CELEBRATING WOMANHOOD event is
being held along with the grand launch of World Women Global Council in Canada,
on the 9th of March. As a woman whose way of life is community service spearheading
many causes, Sanjukta Das, who has been offered an honorary position as an
advisor in WWGC feels privileged to be
able to launch this in the city of Mississauga. The vision is to connect,
support and grow creating a space that engages education, arts and creativity
to increase awareness as well as raise funds to combat violence against women.
The main focus of this movement is to create a stress-free and violence-free
environment for women to blossom into individuals to become self sustained and
empowered because around women grows a family.
Having moved countries with a deep passion to go global, Sanjukta
Das, who is also an international teacher of the Art of Living Foundation, is
confident that her mission to empower other women through her own courageous
leadership is going to be possible. Having nurtured this beautiful dream of
creating a space for women to connect, support and grow, World Women Global
Council provided her with a portal to express her vision.
“Celebrating
Womanhood and the Launch of WWGC” is happening with the support of celebrities,
artists, educators, leaders and women who want to be heard. The World Women
Global Council attempts to act as a catalyst for change. This event aims to use
the strength, talent, and resources of corporate and civic leaders, educators, celebrities,
activists, and other extraordinary people to get together to celebrate
womanhood.
