SINGFEST VOCAL FINALISTS ANNOUNCED!

Mississauga's freshest batch of up-and-coming vocalists gathered to perform at the Singfest 2012 Semi Finals held on June 21 at the Maja Prentice Theatre in Mississauga. 37 of Mississauga's brightest vocal talents competed at the popular event.

SingFest is proudly produced by the Rotaract Club of Mississauga in partnership with the Mississauga Arts Council. Winning the competition is a major career break as it includes studio recording time at Metalworks, press coverage and so much more!

"We know Mississauga is a hot-bed of up-and-coming vocal talent," explains Linda Thomas, Executive Director of the Mississauga Arts Council. "We invite all emerging vocalists to take advantage of this amazing opportunity to hone their talents and win the title of the 2012 Singfest Star. Participating in the competition is an unforgettable experience that will positively impact the career of any young performer."

The top 20 contestants will perform and compete at the Final Round to be held on Friday, July 20, 2012 at the Amacon Rotary Ribfest Competition on the main stage at Mississauga Celebration Square.
