Ward 5 Councillor Bonnie Crombie hosts Business Improvement Area Information Breakfast in Malton

www.insurancerate.com StarBuzz Weekly, Toronto-Event: Ward 5 Councillor Bonnie Crombie, in conjunction with the Ontario Business Improvement Area Association (OBIAA) and the Centre for Training and Education, is holding an information breakfast with local businesses in an effort to encourage the start-up of a business improvement area (BIA) in Malton.  The event is an opportunity for businesses in the Malton community to obtain information about the role of a BIA in the community, what is required to start a BIA, and the potential economic devlopment opportunities associated with a BIA. 


There will also be a presentation by the Mississauga Board of Trade about its role in the Mississauga community, as well as counselling from the Centre for Training and Education about the services they provide to businesses and employees.  The overall goal of the event is to improve the business environment and foster further economic development in Malton, and to ensure businesses are provided with access to the resources to grow and prosper.   All businesses in the Malton area are invited to attend.
