Finally The Trailer Of 'Rio' From 20th Century Fox Is Unveiled

StarBuzz Weekly, Toronto-January 29, 2011: The year 2011 will prove to be exciting as 20th Century Fox has just unveiled the first two minutes of their upcoming venture Rio online. Rio is a computer animated film which is directed by Carlos Saldanha.. The story deals with the story of a macaw named Blu who takes a journey across Rio de Janeiro .In the process the macaw leaves behind all his luxuries in Minnesota. Blu decides to find out his female friend named Jewel in Rio de Janeiro.However Blu and Jewel are held hostage by some animal smugglers .Blu and Jewel manage to escape from the smugglers clutches .Now Blu has to learn to fly to return back to his best friend Linda .Their kidnappers are following them so Blu has to do something really fast.

The first few minutes have a song and a dance sequence and the entire thing does look to be a bit exciting with all the 3D effect. Rio is a take on comedy and adventure .Hopes are soaring for Rio as there has been no major box office success stories from 2009-2010 as far as films in animation are concerned.
According to reports Rio hits the theaters on April 15. It is the sixth movie from Blue Sky Animation. The story is interesting and the unusual macaws adds to its appeal.
