Bollywood Couples: Top Three On-Screen Couples That Re-Appeared To Woo Audiences In 2010

Shahrukh Khan And Kajol In My Name Is Khan
StarBuzz Weekly, Toronto-December 30, 2010: The year 2010 has been quite a sizzling one as far as the sizzling of on screen couples is concerned. Despite having many on screen couples making a comeback this year on screen again, the top three have been SRK and Kajol, Aishwarya and Hrithik and Akshay and Katrina.

The year saw the great on screen chemistry of Shahrukh Khan and Kajol, the all time favorites who are well remembered for their chemistry in DDLJ, Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham etc, were  back with a bang with the KJO flick My Name is Khan. This movie did great business abroad and the main reason cited was of course the coming back of the hottest and the most happening couples on screen- Shahrukh and Kajol.

There is also Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Hrithik Roshan who have been a great attractive proposition ever since their pairing in the blockbuster Dhoom 2 was a huge hit. Then came Jodha Akbar which again was quite a soul stirrer.

However this time the magic of their on screen chemistry failed to lure audiences as the Sanjay Leela Bhansali flick Guzaarish did not help in making the cash registers tinkle as much as was expected from this Aishwarya and Hrithik starrer.

The super hot Jodi of Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif in films like Namaste London, Singhh is King, Welcome, De Dana Dan etc is something which goes beyond comparison. Their on screen chemistry with their wet song sequences taking the entire limelight has always been extremely well appreciated by the audiences.

However with the recently released Farah Khan’s Tees Maar Khan, it still remains to be seen whether their chemistry will manage to create the same magic and attract audiences in droves at theatres or will it be just another average entertainer.
