Special Hair Care for Travel by Beauty Consultant Sangeeta

StarBuzz Weekly, Toronto-During winter we want to escape to warmer places, and in summer we want to take flight to cooler places, we can never be satisfied with whatever we have, can we? Be it an impromptu weekend retreat or a planned month long holiday, you need not forget your hair care rituals.
If you are on a weekend trip, then wash and style before you go, use good hair sprays to hold till you are back. Color and chemically treated hair is more porous and tends to release natural moisture from the hair, and due to its porosity can also absorb a lot of moisture, if you are close to a beach, apply some leave in’ conditioner on your hair and wear a hat to protect from harsh sunlight. If you must participate in a lot of water activities, then wear a cap, and rinse hair with diluted shampoo to get rid of salt or chlorine for pools Avoid blow dryers. In humid conditions hair tends to get wavy and curly, take some products for curly hair that contains polymers, which boost curly hair and guard against frizz. The one thing you must not do on your vacation is try to straighten curly hair.
Travel light to enjoy your holiday, but carry your own shampoo and conditioner in smaller travel bottles, a low maintenance hair cut prior to your long vacation, will certainly benefit. Avoid frequent washing; give your hair a vacation too!  Conditioner cannot be avoided even if you had to shampoo every day. If the water in that city or town is hard, then use some bottled water to give your hair the final rinse,
You can dry your hair naturally, however you must keep it wrapped in a towel for at least fifteen minutes for the excess water to be absorbed, don’t brush when wet, instead use a wide teethed comb, be light and gentle with your strokes. Once your hair is dry then try some simple hair dos to keep the tips protected. Explore your talent, try to be innovative with your hair accessories and surprise yourself! Have funJ
