It is a very tricky question, if you are attempting a new style! If the stylist has chosen a cut for you or decides what’s going to be good, then be aware that you will be styling it yourself the next time onwards. Do you have the time, tools and expertise to handle the new style? Moreover it is often difficult to do it without help. Having said this, it is not to discourage you from a new style, but encourage you to think about any new cut or style more practically.Styles can be glamorous or practical, at times we have no choice, the texture and density of hair, face cut and our lifestyle could be more influential. Whatever the reason we can make the most of anything, you may want to add a few streaks of high lights or lowlights to bring in more glamour to a simple style.
It is most recommended to go with the natural texture of the hair; the chemical process to change the texture should be much avoided, unless really required. This process could do some irreversible damage to the hair, even if you have to, choose to have it done at a good salon and some experienced supervision.
Once the cut is decided styling is necessary, acquire knowledge to use the right tools be it curlers, flat irons or straighteners however its always better to go the natural way, just like how our foremothers did, finger waves, pin curls, barrel curls can be tried instead of the regular heat styling devices for the hair. Improvise with whatever clips or pins you may possess to style hair, practise makes it perfect, so don’t give up.
