They both look similar and while DJ and actress Shilpi Sharma who featured in the Sunny Deol starrer Jo Bole So Nihaal is almost 30 plus, the Mumbai-based, Delhi-born Shilpi Sharma is about 24 years old.
Unfortunately, as Shilpi laments, speaking to Newz66.com, most of the time she is mistaken for the senior Shilpi Sharma. An incident happened not too long ago where Shilpi was invited as a showstopper for a prominent designer at a fashion show in Delhi. As she was walking down the ramp, the Master of Ceremonies (anchor) began reading out the senior Shilpi Sharma’s profile possibly copied ad verbatim from Wikipedia.
In an exclusive interview with newz66.com, Shilpi says, "It was very embarrassing as the audience noticed a different girl coming down the ramp and not the Jo Bole So Nihaal actress. Some thought it was a mix-up while most of the crowd kept wondering what had happened." Her friends too were shocked when films like Jo Bole So Nihaal and Subhash Ghai’s Right Ya Wrong were attributed to her, as well as she was credited as a DJ and actress.
Shilpi has recently completed her fifth south film and all of them are slated for release in the coming six months. Will five film releases in the next six months, hopefully, Shilpi Sharma will be a very known face and hopes she won’t be mistaken for someone else.StarBuzzOnline.com
