Their path seems to be with endless hurdles and struggle
to balance between the stubborn Indian government and the incredible Faith of
millions of Indians Worlwide. There have been many wiles about the method
followed by Anna/ their chances of forming independent political party and
about their own integrity. However, the fact that Anna and his Team still has
power to move the Nation for the right cause and bring them on streets to
protest peacefully, answers it all!
Team hasn’t given up on their sincere efforts to persuade
the Indian government to introduce and enact the Jan Lokpal Bill in place of
the government's own proposed Lokpal Bill. What brings them again and again to
Jantar Mantar, Delhi is the fake promises by the government. This yet again
strengths Nation’s belief that they are simply and completely corrupt. Thus,
they fear the consequences that would follow post-approval of Janlokpal Bill.
The agitations were taken as failures by government and
the Indian media under government’s control. However, if survey Nationwide,
most of the country people would strongly say, “It is government who failed to
do justice to Anna and our Democratic demands”.
After several decades, it was this Gandhiwadi Indian,
Anna Hazare, who actually showed the immense power of Truth and Nonviolence to
the Nation and World. It was and is Anna’s ‘white’ character that today we see
almost every age group in India saying, “I Am Anna”.
Having said that, there have been Supporters who have
pristine intentions to give a better future to India but aren’t fully literate
about the Cause of IAC. Some section still needs to understand and get
well-educated on:
1.
The
difference between Lokpal Bill and Janlokpal Bill.
2.
How exactly
will the Janlokpal Bill contribute in eradicating the corruption issue?
3.
What are
Lokayuktas and their role?
4.
Right
information about Anna Hazare and Team Anna.
5.
Importance of
Indian Democratic Rights.
6.
Importance
and right way of Voting and NOTA option.
7.
Importance of
educating each other and reaching all levels of people.
Here are some helpful links:
What the Supporters have learnt is that a ‘Common Man’ of
India can help this cause only once they get well-educated. Most of people have
failed to actively support due to lack of proper knowledge and ignorance.
How can you help as an Indian?
1.
Gain the
right knowledge related to IAC and Janlokpal Bill and spread the same around
you.
2.
Talk/ Share/
Discuss at your workplace/ in lunch time/ weekend meetups/ family dinner time.
3.
Clarify
doubts of self and others.
4.
Use the
medium of Social Networks like Facebook, Twitter, Google+, LinkedIn etc to
spread awareness.
5.
Write Blogs
and share your vial thoughts/ concerns for the Nation.
6.
Share your
knowledge on all levels from office boys, cab drivers to top corporate and kids
to elderly.
7.
Be in
constant touch with the IAC office near you.
8.
Donate money
if and when suits you. (Only from the Indian bank accounts) This money can be
used well for the Awareness Campaigns, IAC teams travel and stay to the Rural
arts of India to give Educational sessions and distribute right literature etc.
9.
Last but not
the least, help by being a ‘Consistent Supporter and Contributor’.
This movement of Hon Anna Hazare not only connected
people of Nation but also connected shores. Indians across the Globe gathered
together and did every bit in form of Support Meetups/ Donations/ Blogs to give
a strong message to their Motherland that: May we be anywhere, but, We do care!!
Special thanks to IAC Pillars: Ankit Lal (+919958109849),
Dada Pathare (+919420949694), Saumya Bahadur (+918948179050)
