Survi Chatterjee registers complaint against Hyderabad-based producer

StarBuzz, Toronto-Mumbai-based actress and item girl Survi Chatterjee on Monday registered a non cognizable complaint (NC) against a Hyderabad-based producer Venkatesh Prasad Reddy at the Goregaon Police Station in suburban Mumbai. According to the senior police inspector of Goregaon Police Station, “We have registered an NC being NCR 1617 of 2012 under section 507 against one Venkatesh Prasad Reddy of Hyderabad for instigating threatening and vulgar telephone calls to the mobile of the complaint lady Survi Chatterjee.

Survi Chatterjee in her written complaint submitted to the police said that Venkatesh Prasad Reddy called her for a photo session for a trial photo shoot for his Tamil film. “He got a male model who was supposedly the hero of the film. After the male model misbehaved with me during the photo shoot, I decided not to do the film and refused to go ahead with the project. However, the co-ordinator, producer and others associated with the project kept calling me at odd hours and threatened me with dire consequences and bodily harm if I did not continue with the project. He claimed to be well-connected with politicians and business men in Hyderabad and threatened to kidnap me if I did not agree to his terms. He also used very abusive language and threatened to harm my reputation.
