CACD's Annual Fundraising Brunch - Sunday, June 24th

www.insurancerate.com StarBuzz Weekly, Toronto-Citizens for the Advancement of Community Development (CACD) will be hosting their Annual Fundraising Brunch, "The Way To A Better Tomorrow - Our Youth", on Sunday, June 24th from 1 - 4 p.m. at the Crowne Plaza Toronto Airport (located at 33 Carlson Court in Toronto). This year's brunch will include a full-service menu, dessert, pre-event networking and keynote speakers (featuring Justice Irving Andre), appearances from local and regional dignitaries and live entertainment from special guests Liberty Silver and Chris Hayles.
CACD is a grassroots organization that works with the community to help at-risk youth in the Region of Peel, with a focus on the areas of Mississauga and Brampton. CACD operates mainly on volunteers and core funding to transform the lives of children and youth in high-priority neighborhoods through programming that serves their unique needs, develops leadership capabilities and fosters civic participation. Net proceeds from the event will be devoted to the continuing support of CACD's year-round after-school programs for middle schools, and mentorship, life skills, money management, entrepreneurship and leadership development activities for high school students at the Mississauga Valley Community Centre.

Tickets are $40 ($25 for children under 12). Limited sponsorship opportunities are also available. If you'd like to buy tickets or help sponsor the event, please contact Ron Cunningham at             905-361-2421       or visit www.cacdcanada.org to pre-purchase tickets.

Last year's event was a great success, and we're looking to go over the top this year! This will be another great afternoon of fun and entertainment focusing on youth involvement in the community, and the proceeds from this brunch support a unique youth-oriented organization.
