Bhojpuri actors Rani Chatterjee, Seema Singh and Suprena Singh are hot contenders as contestants or inmates for Bigg Boss, Season 6. Over the years, the very popular Reality Show on GEC Colors – Bigg Boss has seen participants from the Bhojpuri film industry like Ravi Kishen, Manoj Tiwari, Raja Chaudhary, Sambhavna Seth, Shweta Tiwari and others. This year three actors namely Rani Chatterjee, Seema Singh and Suprena Singh are vying for a position inside the house.

Says journalist and publicist Flynn Remedios who was instrumental in managing the entry and the subsequent PR blitz of German supermodel and actress Claudia Ciesla, Bollywood actress Shradha Sharma and some others in previous seasons of Bigg Boss, “This year’s Bigg Boss will be much bigger and better and the competition is heating up as the casting for the show has already started. I have heard that Rani Chatterjee, Seema Singh and Suprena Singhs’ PRs and secretaries are working overtime and burning the midnight oil trying to get them a slot inside the Bigg Boss 6 house. Others have approached politicians who they think can have a say in the candidate selection process. However, the Bigg Boss selection is very independent and cannot be influenced by anyone. I have heard that a well-known foreign actor and TV Reality star who is famous for a series of Reality Shows along with her sisters and other family members has been approached by the production house Endemol which owns the format of the show and Colors – the channel on which the show will be aired.”
Flynn Remedios also hinted that Shah Rukh Khan could be a possible choice for the host. “Salman Khan has done two successful seasons. While he is the best and first choice as host for Bigg Boss 6, there is a possibility that Colors may decide to bring in a fresh, unexpected face in Bigg Boss 6.”
“While the candidates are all selected on merit for their unique persona and backgrounds there is also a possibility of a ‘paid candidate’ who would pay for his or her stay or visit in the house. In the past there were rumors that a film director and producer paid a huge sum of money officially to get an entry as an inmate in the Bigg Boss house. While this is not confirmed, there are very strong rumors about this and the possibility of a few paid candidates – like ‘paid news’ in newspapers cannot be ruled out,” explained Remedios.
