As the holiday season is approaching, it's all about gifts, lights and the lists of gifts from Santa. Amar Karma’s purpose of this event was to adjoin a new prospective of Santa in considering giving the 'Gift Of Life' in our minds other than just a materialistic approach to the wish-list.
The founder of the group Loveen Kaur Gill advised that initially our plan was to put a new float to the parade with the brand new theme; however it was turned down this year by Brampton Board of Trade, hopefully we will avail this opportunity next year.
The younger members of the team enjoyed the event and at the same time distributed the information flyers to the viewers of the parade. Amar Karma Group hopes that their efforts to incorporate the theme of organ donation into every festive occasion would eventually light the candle of awareness within the communities.
Amar Karma will hold its year end event “Coffee & Cookies” on December 10, 2011, where the accomplishments of 2011 will be reviewed and new agenda for 2012 will be presented.-
