This giant is the mascot of the city and it lies just on the Sibley Peninsula. Well, actually, the peninsula is the giant itself. It is called the Sleeping Giant. This ‘giant’ is actually the peninsula and if you will have a panoramic view towards it you will see that it actually looks like a giant that is sleeping! Many people go to Thunder Bay to see this great rock formation that even has a park on it called the Sleeping Giant Provincial Park.
