StarBuzz Weekly, Toronto- February 3, 2011 /India PRwire/ -- The Art of Jewellery, India's leading Jewellery Magazine and The Jeweler's Association of Bangalore (JAB) today entered into a partnership to organise South India's biggest annual consumer jewellery exhibition - Best of India Jewellery Show 2011 (BIJS 2011) in Bangalore. The first edition of BIJS is being organised in the city from April 15 to 17, 2011 at Palace Grounds. At the scintillating event, BIJS also introduced its Brand Ambassador - Ramya, renowned Kannada cine star. Ramya stands for the NextGen actress of Kollywood, displaying state's cultural attributes with elegance and poise of today's youth. BIJS promises to offer a similar cultural treat offering the latest fashion and trends in the jewellery segment.Mr. Sumesh Wadhera, Managing Director of The Art of Jewellery magazine said, "We are extremely happy to have entered into a partnership with city's respected association, The Jewelers Association of Bangalore, for this initiative. The exhibition will be held at the sprawling Palace Grounds, a reputed venue with central air-conditioning facilities, ample parking and easy access from all parts of the city."
The event will showcase work of over 150 players from the jewellery industry in India and across the globe. These include some leading names like Abaran, C Krishniah Chetty and Sons, Neelkanth, Arnav, etc. The exhibits offer a wide range of product varieties including plain gold and & studded jewellery, diamond, platinum & fine jewellery, loose diamonds and gems, jewellery watches, silverware & silver jewellery and machinery & equipment.
