Film Patiala House had a befitting launch amidst young students aspiring to achieve their dreams at the Whistling Woods film academy in Mumbai.

 
StarBuzz Weekly, Toronto-February 10, 2011 -The music for Patiala House was recently launched at the Whistling Woods, a well-known film academy. Young aspirants with dreams in their eyes to make it big in tinsel town thronged to have a glimpse of their favorite stars. On an inspirational note and true to the theme of the film, which is about a young man chasing his dreams, the venue for the launch was apt with the presence of young students of the academy.

Though the producer of the film, Bhushan Kumar was conspicuous by his absence, the lead couple of the film, Akshay Kumar and Anushka Sharma were accompanied by the director, Nikhil Advani. Hard Kaur who has sung a mehendi rap for the film was also present and sung a few lines of her song. The music of the film has been created by Shankar-Ahsaan-Loy. A couple of tracks from the film, Laungda Lashkara and Kyu Main Jaagu are already topping the charts.

Akshay, when asked about the film, told the students: "Believe in your dreams, put in a lot of hard work and make sure you are honest with it. Honesty is one of the biggest things in this industry. I might not be a great actor but I am always honest." Anushka nodded and agreed that Akshay had inspired her in more than one ways and she hoped that "she remains as professional like him, always". Director Nikhil Advani also shared his thoughts about his film.
