StarBuzz Weekly, Toronto-A Total lunar eclipse on December 21, 2010 was visible to observers in North America and Western South America, the winter costellations were well placed for viewing during totality the eclipse lasts for 72 minutes. This was the second of two lunar eclipses in 2010 the first was a partial lunar eclipse on June 26, 2010.
