Bollywood has started with its own countdowns from best and worst films, the best and worst events, the best and worst dressed celebrities and not to forget mentioning, the best and worst Bollywood songs of 2010. ‘Munni Badnam Hui’ Salman Khan’s Dabang songs were choreographed by Raju Khan, Shabina Khan, and Farah Khan while Farah Khan choreographed the item number Bollywood latest hot Item song ‘Sheila Ki Jawani’ for the movie Tess Mar Khan.
Both songs are the top contenders for the title of ‘The Best Item Song of 2010’ and became hottest flavors of the season and at running for the top spot for the year 2010. Both songs are fantastic, however people are jumping to do comparisons among best. If judging by the alternative, Tees Maar Khan’s ‘Sheila Ki Jawaani’ is well on its way to beating ‘Munni Badnaam Hui’ as the hottest item song of the year 2010.
When item song ‘Munni Badnaam hui’ was released after long time in Bollywood films its created furor of sorts and upsets almost senior citizens of country with aches and pains, who use Zandu balm for ease. But music lovers like it and song became the hot overnight. With in few weeks of Salman Khan, Sonakshi Sinha starrer Dabaang, the song ‘Munni Badnaam Hui’ was a hit all over and considered the best item song ever.
Now, with release of item number ‘Sheila Ki Jawaani’ from Akshay Kumar-Katrina Kaif starrer Tees Maar Khan it has started facing stiff competition. And when promos of ‘Sheila Ki Jawani’ aired on television and the internet, ‘Munni’ was no longer considered the flavor of the season.
It is interesting now; both songs are playing in cabs, autorickshaws and dance bars, high-end cars, nightclubs and iPods of college kids. ‘Sheila ki Jawani’ is little upsetting the ladies with named of Sheila and their husbands.
It is still to witness the reaction of Delhi Chief Minister whose name also attach with Sheila. The two songs and their leading ladies have been pitted against each other in almost every Bollywood website and other social networking sites. Actually both songs are simply item numbers in their respective films and have extremely different in appeals and in the terms of visuals. While ‘Munni Badnaam Hui’ is a regular but fast paced item number with loads of energy, ‘Sheila Ki Jawani’ is something like Bhojpuri-dance-
The cyber world is constantly buzzing about the best song among two. The social networking and micro blogging sites like twitter, facebook , in addition of youtube have started individual communities to check out, which song the fans are more following.
“Sheila ki Jawani” online community is already boosting more members than ‘Munni Badnam Hui’. On YouTube there are more viewers for ‘Sheila ki jawani’ in two weeks of uploading of promos in compared to ‘Munni Badnaam Hui’ which uploaded as full video. ‘Sheila ki Jawani’ remain hot and favorite among viewers from India and world.
