All the stars of the film had a blast whilst shooting as it’s a complete out and out entertainer. The film has quite a few catchy songs that the fans would love. One of them is Mast Punjabi, which is the pre-climax song. It has been choreographed by Vaibhavi Merchant and went through almost a month of conceptualization. The interesting thing about the song is that all the male actors as well as about 150 junior artists are dressed as Sikhs. They had a team of sardars flown down from especially from Ludhiana to tie the authentic turbans for the key cast and extras. The actors are supposed to be in disguise but since masquerades were very common, the director and the choreographer came up with this idea. The song has distinctive Punjabi moves and retains Anees Bazmee’s trademark entertaining style!
The song took six days to shoot and getting all the actors in one frame was the difficult part. However, all the actors did a fabulous job and the audiences should watch out for this track as Anees Bazmee is ready to spin the Singh is Kingg magic yet again! The film hits theatres on the 10th of December!
