Miss USA Alexandria Mills Crowned Miss World 2010

November 1, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): The winner of the blue tiara crown for the Miss World title of 2010 was the beautiful, confident and well poised Miss USA, Alexandria Mills. She is of 18 years of age and a High School Graduate. The first and second runners up were Miss Botswana; Emma Warens and Miss Venezuela; Adriana Vasini according to tabloid reports.

The event hosted by the Republic of China, in Sanya, was a glittering and gala presentation, with the most extravaganza presentations in music dance and ensembles worn by the 119 beauties from the participating countries.
The evening began with an astounding Chinese traditional dance, which mesmerized the audiences with the colorful costumes and the delicate moves of the performers. It was followed by the introductions of the 119 participants from various countries of the world.

The musical rendition by the Puerto Rico singer Carlos Aponte was enough to make the audiences asking for more.

The event which stole many hearts was ‘Dances of the World’, which began with an amazing performance by the Brazilian beauty, and Miss India Manasvi Mamgai, who came in next, was simply mesmerizing, as she performed. The dance round was one of the most amazing ones, and each beauty had an essence that signified the beauty of the country represented. However, Miss India could not make it to the top 20 list.

The top answer that ultimately led to Miss USA winning the coveted title was quite an impressive one. Reportedly, her answer was: “I want to help everyone that I possibly can”.”It will be an honor to become Miss World 2010”. Thus, she was declared the ultimate winner by the respected Chairperson of the International event Julia Morley.

This amazing and confident answer made her win brownie points and she was eventually got the gorgeous Tiara placed on her lucky head, by last year’s winner, Kaiane Aldrino of Gibraltar.
