Manasvi Mamgai: Know Miss India 2010 A Little More

November 1, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Miss World 2010 has been quite a sensational event, and after the venue had been shifted to the Republic of China from Vietnam, it had gained quite a lot of attention in terms of how the event would eventually pull off.

The event, which was a thundering success, was a very well presented one, and the winner of the coveted title was none other than the beautiful Miss USA Alexandria Mills, with Miss Botswana being selected the first runners-up and Miss Venezuela being the second runners-up.

The sad elimination of Miss India, Manasvi Mamgai, right at the top 20 level, was quite a blow to all those who had been crossing their fingers in the hope that at least after a gap of almost 10 years, India would be able to bring home the coveted title.

All hopes took a great dive, when Manasvi Mamgai was eliminated much earlier than anticipated. But, why couldn’t Miss India grab the Tiara? The fact that Manasvi Mamgai was the Pantaloons Femina Miss India 2010, and she has quite a portfolio to support her at such an International level is quite an understatement in itself. She has all the qualities required to be a representative of the country. But then we all have our bad days, and having reached up to this level, is quite a feat in itself. The girl has to be appreciated for the effort put in.

Manasvi, who has not given up hope after being eliminated early in the competition at the Miss World contest, held at the Crown Convention Centre in Sanya China, has now reportedly said that she would like to look for a stepping stone into the Bollywood turf. She is a well trained actor, a National level skater, has the distinction of taking part in almost 40 dance competitions, and is an avid lover of books.

The 22-year-old is now looking forward to a great career in acting. Wish her all the best.
