Poet, Screenwriter & Filmmaker GULZAR being honoured.

The Nehru Centre, London  England, and South Asian Cinema Foundation (SACF) at SACF’s 10th Anniversary Film Events 2010 is honouring lyricist, poet, screenwriter & filmmaker Gulzar on Sat 9th October. "Excellence in Cinema Award" will be given to Gulzar by The Hon. High Commissioner of India in London, Mr. Nalin Surie. This is being done during the SACF’s 10th Anniversary Film Events 2010.

Gulzar will also be in conversation conversation with Lalit Mohan Joshi, Editor, South Asian Cinema about his life, works and Indian cinema the same day. Inauguration of the Gulzar Film Festival & Introduction of Ijaazat by Gulzar will be followed by a screening of of the film on Sun 10 Oct. 6.00 pm @ Watermans.
