Mississauga Arts council announces ARTbeats Gala & Reception for fund raising

Mississauga Arts council announced ARTbeats Gala & Reception for fund raising yesterday in a press meet at "Taste Of Portugal".The grand event will take place on Friday October 15, 2010 at the Mississauga Convention Centre. Cultures will converge at this gala featuring musical sounds from Africa, Latin America, the Caribbean, South Asia and South-East Europe.

MARTY award-winning TorQ Percussion Ensemble will be featured as the headline entertainers at the event. ARTbeats will also showcase a performance by Latin Flute Master Carlos Bastidas. ARTbeats will take place at 7 p.m. at the Mississauga Convention Centre located at 75 Derry Rd. W. in Mississauga. The general public is welcome to come out and indulge their senses at this evening filled with food, wine, music and rhythms from around the world. The event will also feature an auction with unique items, trips, art pieces and so much more!
