OTTAWA – On Saturday Aug 7th, the Mississauga-Brampton South Federal Liberal Riding Association and their special guest the Hon. Navdeep Bains, MP hosted over 700 community members at a BBQ held at the Hansa Haus Park on Hurontario St.
“What a great day for a BBQ!”, said Mr. Bains speaking at the event. “I’m glad to see so many new faces this year. It is because of your support and hard work that I am able to continue to serve the citizens of this community. With the birth of my second daughter Kirpa I am driven more than ever to build a better Canada for my family and our neighbours here in Mississauga-Brampton South.”
Mr. Bains was joined by his House colleagues the Hon. Gurbax Malhi
(Bramalea-Gore-Malton) and Andrew Kania (Brampton West),
as well as Omar Alghabra (Candidate for Mississauga-Erindale).
Mississauga-Brampton South MPP Amrit Mangat was also in attendance.
The free event now in its 6th year is an annual favourite and open to all residents of Mississauga-Brampton South to attend. This is the first year the BBQ was held at the Hansa Haus Park, previous BBQs have been held at the Macedonian Picnic Grounds on Derry Rd.
